includes members from all over south Devon and has performed in recent years at
Port Eliot, Glastonbury and Isle of Wight festivals as well as being finalists
at Charles Hazlewood’s inaugural
Orchestra in a Field choir competition.
With director and
award-winning composer Helen Yeomans at the helm, the choir will present a
heart-warming and uplifting set of seasonal songs. From beautiful original
songs to unusual arrangements of Christmas classics, the choir never fails to
surprise. Helen Yeomans gets the mix of sacred and secular just right, varying
the styles cleverly and mixing exquisite ensemble performances with full choir
show-stoppers.The music is sensitively choreographed by artistic director
Catherine Wilcox and a selection of soloists provide the
dazzle. This choir is as much fun to watch as to hear. Expect to be moved!
