Both Said the Maiden and Kadia have gathered strong followings through with their interpretations of traditional material and  original writing, blending three part harmonies and unique instrumental arrangements within their respective trios. Since a chance collaboration at an icy Wassail, the two bands have been eager to come together to pour their six voices and small orchestra of instruments into a joint project. Finally the moment has arrived, and alongside songs showcasing the strengths of the two trios individually, they have developed a series of arrangements specially for this ensemble. Duelling guitars, mandolins, flute and cello all come together to provide a shimmering backdrop for the rich harmony of six singers. Featuring songs with a wintry flavour, this tour is the perfect way to greet the long frosty nights.
